News roundup: Herefordshire votes Leave, while hunt group faces animal cruelty allegation

A round up of what's been happening in and around Herefordshire this week

  • Joe Public has voted to leave the European Union and figures show Herefordshire backed Brexit, significantly. There was a 78% turnout at the polls on Thursday, and 108,336 votes cast. Just before 6am, the Herefordshire Council count revealed that 59% voted Leave (64,122), 41% voted Remain (44,148). 
  • People of Ledbury are getting their (unisex) knickers in a twist over plans to open mixed gender loos at the town's revamped swimming pool.
  • Bez loves the Beefy Boys.
