Festival MCs: Jurassic 5 to headline Nozstock 2016

Last year they taught seasoned Nozzers what's golden. And this year, Jurassic 5 will be back to headline Nozstock The Hidden Valley.

The theme of the 2016 summer festival, held near Bromyard from July 22 to 24, is Wonders of the Ancient World. Cue Cleopatra costumes, Aztec gold, and Roman togas.

Nozstock 2016: dates and tickets

Announcing the first wave of 2016 acts today, the Nozstock team said: "We've only gone and got the Mesozoic, the major MCs, the massive Jurassic 5. From the concrete streets of California to the grassy knolls of Rowden Paddocks, J5 will be rockin' something fierce after a 7 year hiatus.

"Chali 2na, Akil, Zaakir aka Soup, Mark 7even, DJ Nu-Mark and Cut Chemist are back to inject fresh energy into their iconic music and show Nozstock a show like never before."

Also on the bill are Gentleman's Dub Club, Foreign Beggars, Slamboree, the Hot 8 Brass Band, Professor Elemental and Split Prophets.

Tickets to The Hidden Valley are on sale now: weekend camping will set you back £109-£155, £85 for 13 to 17-year-olds and free for 12s and under. For those of us without £50 notes flying around, you can pay in chunks though various installement plans, the details of which should be available at soon.

As well as happy campers, Nozstock welcomes campervans or, if you want to go Full Glamp, ZooBells offer bell tents while Camplight pitch the tent for you.
