Lakefest will be back in Herefordshire in 2017

Lakefest will be back in Herefordshire next year, and early bird tickets are on sale already.

The family friendly music festival, which brought We Are Scientists, Cast, The Coral and Primal Scream to Eastnor Castle, near Ledbury, in August, will be back in 2017, running from August 10 to 14.

For the first 4 years Lakefest was held in Gloucestershire, where it picked up a Festival Kidz Families Choice Award.

On this side if the border, organisers held onto the family-friendly vibe and put a host of local musicians, including Bekki Cameron and Dan Nichol, on the bill.

Confirming that Lakefest would return just 3 weeks after taking the stages down, the guys at Eastnor Castle said: "We thoroughly enjoyed having Lakefest here this year. It was wonderful to be able to welcome another festival to the Deer Park and particularly one which was so family friendly.

"The feedback we have received has been terrific and we are very much looking forward to hosting Lakefest again next year."
