'Absolute scenes': The best social media pics and video from Hereford's dramatic FA Vase win

Hereford FC are 180 minutes from Wembley.

They very nearly weren’t. But then again, doing things the easy way, just ain’t Hereford’s style.

Coming from behind in the second half to force extra time, and with 119 of the 120 minutes of allotted time elapsed, and the 2-2 deadlock unbroken, the tired legs on the field and the now-hoarse voices in the stands refused to give up.

Whether there’s a little of the magic of the cup still in that Edgar Street mud, or just a little magic in their No. 9’s right boot, when the ball came across the box, John Mills did not miss.

And the crowd went wild.

Here are some of the best reactions from that dramatic, historic win.

The next cup match is against fellow phoenix club Salisbury FC, led by Steve Claridge, on March 12 - the first of the two-legged FA Vase semi taking place at Edgar Street.
