Chef and food writer Valentine Warner will be back at Dewsall Court, an exclusive use country retreat not far from Hereford city in Callow, on May 6.
Cooking for what sounds like a pretty fancy / guaranteed good time, the menu for Warner's dinner party at Dewsall features Hepple Gin Fizz, goat’s curd and green sauce on sourdough, pheasant eggs and celery salt plus chargrilled ox cheek with black treacle beans from the BBQ.
From the organiers: "The fun and atmospheric evening will feature the exquisite menu, accompanied by specially selected wines. Valentine, who is an award-winning author and presenter of BBC series ‘What To Eat Now’ grew up on a farm in Dorset where he learned to fish, shoot and cook from a young age. In typical Valentine Warner style, his menu has been artistically designed with flavour in mind, using fresh seasonal choices inspired by his understanding of using the finest ingredients to contribute to the plate as much as the cooking."
