Hereford Indie Food 2017

Hereford Indie Food is on noble mission to bring together people through food and drink, transforming a patch of Berrington Street tarmac into a snaking moveable feast for one weekend only.

"Hereford Indie Food is a community driven project which celebrates the independent food scene, chefs, producers and makers in Herefordshire.

"The basic idea behind Hereford Indie Food Festival is simple, it seemed to make sense that a county famed for it’s food and rural nature should have one, and instead of waiting for it to happen, we thought we’d do it ourselves.

"The purpose of the festival is to showcase and promote Herefordshire as a destination for good food, and to strengthen and grow our local community and economy."

Hosted by A Rule of Tum (the guys behind The Bookshop and The Burger Shop (s, plural - Hereford and Worcester branches), it's a hugely collaborative affair with input from dozens of Herefordshire based makers and producers.

A huge hit in 2016, the 2017 line up is even tastier with music from The Mystery Jets, Foals and Matt Horne plus food, drink and artisan products from the Beefy Boys, Forage Fine Foods, Rayeesa’s Indian Kitchen, Cyprus Kitchen, Sensory + Rye, The Mighty Soft Shell Crab, Secret Dumpling Club, and a Bookshop Kebab pop-up with Farmer Tom, Hereford Beer House, Shack Revolution, Chase, Alex Gooch, Peter Cooks Bread, Tigg's, Neal's Yard Cremery, Gregg's Pitt, Little Pomona, Field and Found, Joel Black Knives, Bardot Living and Single Malt Teapot.
