James Atherton will lead the 80 voices of Leominster Choral Society in a performance of these two powerful pieces, accompanied by Chameleon Arts Orchestra.
Karl Jenkins was commissioned by the Royal Armouries Museum to write a piece to celebrate the millennium, and The Armed Man, a Mass for Peace, was dedicated to the victims of the Kosovo crisis.
John Rutter’s Gloria, first performed in 1974, is a vibrant and energetic cornerstone of the modern choral repertoire.
