The Last Bread Pudding @ The Market Theatre, Ledbury

Ledbury Amateur Dramatic Society (LADS) presents The Last Bread Pudding by by Nick Warburton.

Following the society's success in March as winners of the Hereford County Drama Festival (HCDF) at The Courtyard, LADS presents its award-winning one-act comedy, The Last Bread Pudding; a hilariously melodramatic bird’s eye view on an AmDram committee’s decision on what their next play should be.

The meeting soon goes off agenda and secrets are revealed.

The play showcases the talent of two of the Hereford County Drama Festival’s individual award winners – Toby Burchell, who won best actor for his portrayal of Chairman Ken, and best director Ben Mowbray.

LADS will be supported by the Eardisley Little Theatre Youth Club’s self-devised Playback Time. The play focuses on innocence versus cruelty in tackling the issues of mental health.

A strong and mature performance by this young and talented group was rewarded by their award in the HCDF for their ensemble work.
